Get Romantic

The Look: The Embellished Headband

Polish off a pulled-back style with an embellished headband, similar to the one worn by the models of the Dolce and Gabbana spring 2014 fashion show. It’s an easy way to take your ponytail from day to night. Curl any stray hairs for an even more romantic and feminine vibe.

Our Make-Up Tip: Go for a nude look. Highlight your eyes with a bit of gold eyeshadow and make your lips look extra kissable with a flirty, light pink lipstick.

Our Outfit Suggestion:

Go Vintage

Woman with a bob.

The Look: Sexy Side Swept Hair

Start by parting your hair to one side. Curl two inch sections toward the face and hold for about 10 seconds. After releasing a section, re-coil the section with your fingers and secure with a bobby pin or duck-bill clip. After letting the sections cool, remove the clips and carefully brush through the curls using a paddle brush to create waves. Pull and secure the hair to one side by vertically inserting a bobby pin at the nape of the neck.

Our Make-Up Tip: A cat eye and bold, red lip will word miracles with this look.

Our Outfit Suggestion:

Be The Belle Of The Ball

Woman with a low bun.

The Look: The Low-Hanging Bun

Pull your hair back into a low ponytail and secure it with a hair tie. Separate the hair above the hair tie into two sections. Loop the ponytail through the hole and pull it down, creating a ‘topsy tail’. If your hair is fine, lightly tease the ponytail to give it texture. Loop and tuck the ponytail into the space you’ve created with the topsy tail. Pin it in place using bobby pins. Continue pinning and smoothing any strays. Apply hairspray, and lightly curl any remaining loose pieces away from the face using a large barrel curling iron.

Our Make-Up Tip: A smokey eye was made for this do! Apply a bit of shimmery bronzer to your cheekbones to better define them.

Our Outfit Suggestion:

Be Sweet & Sexy

Woman with shoulder-length hair.

The Look: Sexy Over-The-Shoulder Hair

After washing your hair, apply a volumising mousse to the roots. Flip your head over and blow-dry it. Once your hair is dry, mist the ends with a flexible-hold hairspray, before throwing it all to one side.

Our Make-Up Tip: A red lip is a must! Keep your eye make-up to a minimum.
