11th Mar 2014 / By Alka Makwana

Hollywood’s biggest night might be over but the stars sure stepped up the glam factor for an unforgettable Oscars Red Carpet! From glittery nude dresses to sexy cut-outs, I’m breaking down all the HOT trends from The 2014 Oscars.

Nude Metallics

Sparkly Nude Trend
Nude sparkly dresses dominated the red carpet with Cate Blanchett, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Angelina Jolie and  Jessica Biel looking divine sporting it! A little sparkle is super fun and really gives you that added Wow factor especially on a night out. The Whit and Kacie are perfect options to rock with this kind of look.

Cut-Out Craze

Cut Out Trend
Sexy cut out dresses were seen on the likes of Taylor Swift, Chanel Iman, Kate Beckinsale, Selena Gomez, Miranda Kerr and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. It looks like showing a little skin is so IN! The Jeneva heels are the ones you need if you want to hop on cut out trend.

Sexy Black

Oscar Trend - black
I love a sleek black dress and this was another massive trend on the carpet. Stunning Charlize Theron wore one of my favourite looks of the night in Dior Couture, whilst Julia Roberts, Anne Hathaway and Emma Watson also rocked the same stylish hue. Every girl should have a little LBD stocked in their wardrobe!  The Saige is ultimate style to compliment a classic LBD look!

Navy Army

Navy Trend
Both Sandra Bullock and Amy Adams opted for crisp Navy numbers on the red carpet. This colour to me just oozes class and elegance, and its the perfect colour to rock if you want to opt for something different than black but still have the same flattering effect on the body. Go for the Ambrosia to sport this hue.

Art Deco

Art Deco Trend
Art deco-inspired designs were super popular on the carpet with Kristen Chenoweth, Jennifer Garner and opting for bedazzled creations! These are the perfect special occasion dress. The Vine heel would look super fierce with this kind of style!

Blush Pink

Blush Trend
Latina lovelies Penelope Cruz and Camila Alves went for adorable baby pink gowns. Pair this feminie hue with a sexy metallic like the Lawren or Jayne heel make your look pop!

Which Oscars trend was your favourite?
